Thanks Jayne - the pies at the top here had partridge, pheasant, venison, duck and rabbit, with streaky bacon, fresh sage, parsley, chestnut mushrooms and port . I've since made a pork pie too - 8" across

Thanks CM and Ann - I think hot water pastry raised pies with a variety of fillings are my thang at the moment - such lovely flavours to be experimented with
