Default Steak & Kidney (or not!) Pudding

I'm a bit of a novice cook but I totally capable of doing it.
I've promised the missus a Steak & Kidney Pudding as it's one of my favs and she don't think I can do it. One problem i've got is that she doesn't like Kidney!!! I was thinking of substituting the Kidney for Bacon & Mushrooms.
Do you think it will work???
Am I crazy or have any of you got any other Ideas???

Cheers

My view is if you don't like it don't add it Bacon and mushrooms sound fab.

I agree with Cookie. Don't add if you don't like it. Bacon and mushrooms sound delicious!

Well you'll all be glad to hear it was a rip roaring success!!!

It's the first time i'd eaten a homemade suet pudding for about 15 years and I gotta say it was as good as I remembered!!!

I'd recommend it to anyone, even if you really like kidney, try it without you'll be droolling!

Thanks for your support guys
