Bad cooking experience!

Once i was cooking for me and my bf. It was his birthday and wanted to make something special. I had a cook book beside me as i dont know how to cook lol i was making shepherds pie and how i messed it up i will never know. I was watching the time etc but forgot about it.
In the end the fire alarm went of and I burnt it! I was so upset as my bf walked in and i had nothing planned
prob is the most good thing i have cooked but it didnt go so well! *sighs*

 |  lol... dont worry, it happens to us all at some stage.. even the best chefs burn stuff, the trick is to always have something quick and easy about that you can throw on and say.. yea, that's what we were having anyway lol |

| |  When I was in school I wanted to roast a chicken for my dad. I bought an old hen instead of a young chicken cause I thought bigger was better. It was so tough we couldn't get a knife through the meat. I LOL today but I was crying then.  |
